Elizabeth Zanzinger: Artist Instructor

Elizabeth has developed techniques from her studies both at Juliette Aristides' Atelier and at the Grand Central Academy. Using strong drawing skills, skilled brushwork, and luminous color she has combined approaches from multiple influences to create her own unique approach to painting a portrait sketch quickly and accurately.

Jacob Hankinson: Artist Instructor

Jacob began his career as a self-taught artist before attending the Academy of Art in San Francisco. He currently teaches and shows throughout the Bay Area. Jacob is quickly gaining a reputation as a highly effective teacher and we are thrilled to have him at our studio.

Lindsey Kustusch: Artist Instructor

Since 2009, Lindsey has been exhibiting in galleries across the US, and has become nationally recognized for her vivid animal work and dramatic, urban city scenes. Her unique painting approach presents a colorful and expressionistic twist on indirect oil painting, combining non-traditional tools, techniques, and self-taught methods inspiring a style that’s all her own.

A student and teacher of Classical Drawing at the Sadie Valeri Atelier in San Francisco, California, Ian injects the rich history of Classicism with the theory and visual language of Constructivism, using abstraction as a means of distillation and conceptualization.

Rupy Kaloti studied at the Sadie Valeri Atelier and at the Grand Central Academy in New York. She fuses her knowledge of realism and her imagination to create whimsical works of art.

Melinda Ackerman: Artist Instructor

Now living in Jackson, Wyoming, Melinda is a patient and clear instructor who guides students through the complexities of painting and drawing with enjoyment and ease.
